Timely Advice

Hello -
After visiting with many of you at wedding receptions I am quite impressed with how you conduct yourselves. Grandpa & I do COMPANIONSHIP STUDY every morning from a book "Come, Listen to a Prophet's Voice'
- This impressed me very much. Hope you enjoy it: (Matt 5:21-22)
The phrase 'without a cause' in the KJV is omitted from many of the oldest biblical manuscripts and from the Savior's sermon to the Nephites at the Temple Bountiful. Anger, a secondary emotion and a reactionary one, is not an acceptable emotion. It is not inspired of God, does not build relationships, and seldom solves problems. Rather, it builds walls between people, nurtures resentments, and stifles the flow of the pure love of Christ. President David O McKay declared:'Never must there be expressed in an LDS-home an oath, a condemnatory term, an expression of anger & jealousy or hatred. Control it! Do not express it! You do what you can to produce peace & harmony, no matter what you may suffer. The Savior set the example. He was always calm, always controlled, radiating something which people could feel as they passed'
I'm working on it!!
love to all
