flowers from Hu's office garden

I see that my last posting was almost a month ago. How time flies. July has been a busy month. We've attended a wedding in Pincher Creek of my sister's granddaughter. It was nice to see relatives & friends. The bride looked lovely & the groom handsome. The reception was interesting. We then decided to travel through the Crow's Nest Pass on to Invermere - which location Grandpa really enjoys. He had a few golf games with me driving the power cart or pulling the golf cart. I think I made a good caddy.
The other big event on the same day was the birth of Brigham David Thompson. We have only seen pix of him but hope to see him this week.
I am enclosing some pix. The first is the lovely bouquet of peonies that we got from Hu's office garden. They are so lovely. I remember when we used to go camping with the children Hu always scrounged around looking for flowers to bring to me to set on our camping table. He's still at it but it is we who scrounge around his garden. I thought I would make it worthwhile & take a 3-generation picture of the flowers adorning my buffet in our home. Peonies smell great & are such lovely colors - red, pink, white.
